ELIGIBILITY:
An Officer in the Cadre of Senior Civil Judge who has completed five
years of qualifying service as on 01.08.2020 is eligible to apply for filling up of
vacancies in the Cadre of District Judge on the basis of merit through Limited
Competitive Examination, 2020.

For calculating five years of qualifying service as Sr. Civil Judge, the date of
notification of promotion to the cadre of Sr. Civil Judge will be taken into
consideration.

SCALE OF PAY: Rs. 51,550-1230-58,930-1380-63,070/- with usual DA and
other allowances as admissible from time to time.

 NO. OF VACANCIES: 5 (FIVE)

 PERIOD OF TRAINING & PROBATION:
Every candidate recruited as District Judge by Limited Competitive
The examination shall undergo a course of training under Rule-30-A and all these
appointees shall be on probation under Rule- 33 of OSJS & OJS Rules, 2007.

Evaluation of C.C.Rs I P.A.Rs.
Candidates’ C.C.Rs / P.A.Rs. for five years immediately
preceding the year of the examination shall be evaluated which shall
carry 30 marks.
The final selection shall be made on the basis of total
marks obtained in the written and interview test and evaluation of
C.C.Rs / P.A.Rs provided that a candidate shall not be selected
unless he/she secures 40% of marks in the interview
