IIT Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for the following project positions for a research
project on Integrated Urban Water Management funded jointly by DST-NOW (under Indo-
Netherlands science support).
for IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment for JRF.
Essential Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or
related areas with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Candidates with
BTech degree should have a valid GATE score.
Preferred Skills: Water distribution network(WDN), hydrology, resilience, field work, data
acquisition/Automation of WDN, IOT for WDN, signal processing
Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on
performance.
Remuneration: Rs 31,000/month for first 2 years, then Rs 35, 000/month.
Project Assistant (1 post)
Essential Qualification: B.Tech./MBA with minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA in
aggregate.
Preferred Skills: Field work, data acquisition, survey, interaction with city administration,
preparing reports
Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on
performance.
Remuneration: Rs 22,000/month.
