 ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, JOKA ESIC Recruitment 2020 For Professor

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under ESI Act 1948 and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government

of  India intends to fill up  the Teaching  Faculty  positions in the  post  of Associate Professor      &

Assistant Professor in ESI PGIMSR, ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & ESIC HOSPITAL& ODC (EZ),  JOKA

for appointment on contract basis initially for one year, extendable for another one year on

satisfactory performance, with

a minimum term of one year in respect of

teaching faculty or

attaining the age of 70 years whichever is earlier through walk in interview. The number of ESIC Recruitment 2020 For Professor

PWD Vacancies: Out of total 23 vacancies, 1(one) vacancy is reserved for PWD category in identified post only.

 AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 69 years as on 15.07.2020 for all posts.

1. Number of vacancies is provisional and may increase or decrease depending on actual requirement.

B.            PAY & ALLOWANCES:

1. The consolidated remuneration will be paid as under:-

• No other allowances will be paid.
• No kind of Private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
• Retired candidates from Central/ State Govt. / PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible to apply. Persons working in recognized/ approved Private Medical Institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria for the post may also apply.
• The candidates have to attach the self-attested copies of all the relevant certificates/ testimonials on support of date of birth (Secondary exam certificate/Admit Card), category, sub-category i.e. educational qualification, teaching experience, Pension Payment Order (PPO), etc. with the application form and have to produce originals thereof at the time of Walk in Interview. C.            TERMS OF CONTRACT:

The engagement will be for a period till the joining of regular incumbent. The contract would initially be for one year, be extendable for another one year on satisfactory performance, with minimum term of one year in respect of teaching faculty or attaining the age of 70 years whichever is earlier.

Although those posts are reserved for SC, ST, OBC category, in case of non-availability of the candidates of appropriate category, candidates from other category can be considered for appointment on contractual basis for period of less than 45 days. The contract will be renewable with further advertisement in absence of reserved candidates. [Vide Order No. 36036/3/2018 Estt. (Res.) dated 15.05.2018 of Govt. of India]

The candidate should check his/her eligibility against the advertised criteria for each post before applying. Only eligible candidate should appear for the walk in interview with the

following documents in original along with two sets of self attested copied on the stipulated dated, time at venue mentioned.

1. Two sets of the prescribed application form enclosed with this notification must be printed on A4 size paper and properly filled up and submitted at the time of verification on the day of walk in interview. For ESIC Recruitment 2020 For Professor

Two sets of self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of: (i) proof of age/Date of Birth(Secondary exam certificate/admit card), (ii) Category (SC & ST), Category OBC and Category EWS in up to date Government of India Format, Sub- category, (iii) Educational Qualifications: (MBBS Certificate, Post Graduate certificate, & any other certificates from matriculation onwards), (iv)Registration certificate issued by State Medical Council/MCI (v) MCI recognized teaching experience issued by the Head of the Institute or Head of the Department, (vi) Research Publications in Indexed Journals,

A Demand Draft of Rs. 225/- in favour of ‘ESI Fund Account No. I’, drawn after 24.06.2020 on any scheduled bank payable at ‘Kolkata’ has to be submitted along with the Application Form at the time of walk in Interview.

 Note: i) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

1. Only Demand Draft drawn on a Scheduled Bank will be accepted. Application Fee paid by other mode will not be accepted.
2. The Demand Draft must be issued after the date of issue of this advertisement.

1. The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in the Walk In Interview before the Selection Board.

1. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.
2. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.

1. Wrong declarations/ submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
2. Opportunity of interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.

v.            The Walk in Interview shall be conducted at academic building DEAN OFFICE, ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, and Kolkata 700104. However, ESIC reserves the right to change the venue, if needed.

1.      All the candidates are requested to appear for the document verification one hour before the interview with protection like protective gear like cap masks goggles, face shield and carry sanitizer and maintain social distance.
